Oxford North’s planning application called in to Oxford City Council’s planning review committee

Oxford North’s planning application called in to Oxford City Council’s planning review committee

Further to Oxford City Council’s resolution to approve Thomas White Oxford, the development company of St John’s College, planning application for Oxford North at its West Area Planning Committee meeting held on Wednesday 27 November 2019, TWO has been informed that its planning application has been ‘called in’ to the Planning Review Committee.

A spokeswoman for TWO said: “We reached an important milestone in Oxford North’s project following the WAPC’s decision. We note that our planning application has been called in. Our wish is to continue to work positively and in partnership with Oxford City Council to deliver their Northern Gateway Area Action Plan, adopted in 2015, and make long term social investment in Oxford. Oxford North will deliver workspace, new homes, including 168 affordable homes, significant infrastructure investment to improve walking, cycling, bus and road provision and three new parks, all underpinned by sustainable initiatives, benefitting existing and future generations.”

TWO understands that its planning application will be heard at the Planning Review Committee at 6pm on Monday 16 December 2019.
